PLANTING SCHEDULE
Prairie and woodland planting palette will create a soft delicate interaction between arrangements. The planting beds will be made up of primarily perennial flowers of various sizes and differing bloom periods, as well as a range of grasses adding movement and subtle screening. Trees are selected for the urban environment, with constant seasonal interest and texture.

MATERIAL PALETTE
The design concept for the hardscape materials for the ‘Restoring the Core’ project was to be durable, functional and to create a soft feeling throughout.
The below images show a series of construction details highlighting the inclusion of different types of paving to enforce the idea of stroll paths and active travel.
